I had always been interested in photography from an early age. My dream was realized only after graduating from college with a degree in aviation and working for several years in the aviation/communications fields. The underlying urge to become a photographer finally came to fruition the summer of my wedding and spending a summer honeymooning in Alaska. With the support of my new wife, I finally decided to do what inspires me and start a career as a photographer.

I attended the New England School of Photography and studied for several years as a freelance assistant to Boston's top photographers. The real world experience gained from working on a variety of projects (advertising, photojournalism, editorial, studio, architecture, still-life, portrait, sports, and different levels of weddings) has given me a broad base of knowledge from which to draw. Many of these styles are incorporated into my photography.

I've been shooting professionally for seven years and continually strive to improve my technique and creativity. Moving forward and creating better artwork is a priority to me. Learning cutting edge digital imaging techniques and upgrading my equipment allows me to continue to grow and stay inspired.
